Toronto Replaces Legacy Muller Martini with Osako Tener Alpha Sitcher

Best Graphics Ships Out 12,000/Hour Osako Tener Alpha Automated Saddle Stitcher to metro-Toronto, Canada for Installation –

Best Graphics has recently closed another Osako Japanese Saddle Stitcher in the Canadian province of Ontario. The buyer, a Toronto-based commercial printer, was looking for affordable options to replace one of their legacy Muller Martini models.

The system, configured with (6) Osako tool-less signature feeders, and (1) Osako cover feeder allows this second generation print facility the versatility it needs to print short run booklets, long run jobs and/or tricker stock materials. The Osako Tener Alpha’s OT-2000 fully automated trimmer allows the Stitcher operator to enter the next jobs’ size format inputs at the touch screen, thereby enabling the machine’s belts, yoke timing, and book positioning to change automatically. Similarly, the Stitcher section’s automation package results in a very short 3 – 5 minute job prep. For quality control, this Tener Alpha model’s stitcher area also includes  mechanical, and electrical calipers as standard.

When compared to the competition, Best Graphics’ Osako Saddle Stitchers are affordably priced without forsaking durability. With the savings the print shop received, they re-purposed the funds towards a 4th and 5th Knife (for inline, 2-up bookletmaking), as well as a Fenimore 528 Punch (for inline calendar, and 3-hole production). Both options were sold by Best Graphics’ team, and will be installed by our Service Department personnel.

Like all Osako purchases, the machine included installation, employee training and a full parts and labor warranty.

Whether you’re in the Greater  Toronto Area; Ottawa; Montreal; Edmonton; Vancouver; or just across the U.S.-Canada border, we’d love to host you for an Osako Stitcher demonstration. Simply call our office at (800) 236-7603, or submit an online request.

Do you currently “fight” your used Heidelberg ST-270; Heidelberg ST-90; Muller Martini 321; Muller Martini Bravo; Muller Martini Prima with AMRYS; or Muller Martini Presto Stitcher? Are parts becoming an issue for your team? Is access to Muller Martini service becoming a liability? We can help, and would love to hear from you.

New, or used. Four plus cover; multiple cover feeders; six plus cover and beyond! Trust the Stitching equipment for sale by Best Graphics: North America’s largest independent equipment distributor with 150 – 175 annual machine sales!

Latest News Surrounding COVID-19 ‘Coronavirus’

Best Graphics’ Business Operations Amidst the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak –

Clients, and our business partnerships are important to us. In an attempt to keep you informed on the latest COVID-19 developments, and their impact on business operations we’ve put together a list of ongoing subjects. Check back regularly, as we’ll continue to supply answers to a very “fluid” situation:

Update: [April 16th, 4:30am CST] The state of Wisconsin has mandated a “Safer at Home” order effective until April 24th May 26th, 2020. Under these guidelines, and as a supplier to essential industries including: Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Education, Financial, Communications, and Government, Best Graphics will still be able to operate albeit it in compliance with Governor Tony Ever’s 16-page Emergency Order #12, executable via Executable Order #72 where those t[employees] hat can work from home are accessible remotely; those [employees] in post-Sales departments — Service & Parts — will be in the factory, and limited in travel.

Hours of Operation: To date, Best Graphics continues to operate between 8:00am – 4:30pm CST Monday through Friday from our headquarters here in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Parts Orders: We are suggesting that customers opt for Next Day, or Priority Shipment of parts in order to ensure the fastest delivery to your dock door. While we can confirm when parts leave our facility, we are at the mercy of UPS, FedEx and DHL when it comes to physical receipt of goods. As always, in times of uncertainty, priority parcels take precedent.

Service Work, Machine Maintenance: [Update: March 24th, 11:30am] We must now treat each service call, and the possibility to being out in the field, on a case-by-case basis. Scroll down to identify Gary Martin’s (Service Manager) cell phone number. Our Service Technicians continue to be out in the field supporting maintenance requests you’ve scheduled with our Service Manager. However, it has come to our attention that some facilities have implemented a ‘zero tolerance’ policy when it comes to receiving outside guests. While our Service Department is doing its job to reach out, and connect with E.V.P.s of Operation, Plant Managers, and Maintenance Managers we’d kindly ask that you inform us if we need to re-schedule. The only current ramification is the “unknown” of when we can get back in your shop; we’re quite flexible.

Machine Installations: [Update: March 24th, 11:30am] Same as above; service orders will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis in hopes of the best possible outcome under the circumstances. Much like the above, some shops have already identified the need to delay machine installations due to corporate policies. Again, we understand the basis, and can be flexible with re-scheduling. We would ask, however, that you work with us to ensure progress payments and other administrative subjects proceed as promised.

Email Correspondence: In the world of manufacturing, we get it: every second matters. Let’s work together to ensure we’re providing you the answers you need, as swiftly as possible. For those reasons, do not assume an email is received, or read. Phone with someone directly, and ask for expected timelines; the old, “who’ll do what by when” slogan is key here! Can’t remember how to phone us? Our office line is (262) 522-3330, or here’s a short list of folks that can help:

  •    Gary M., Service Manager, (262) 613-5011 Cell
  •    Mike K. Parts Manager, (414) 699-1244 Cell
  •    Mark S., Finance, (262) 391-3321 Cell
  •    Dan B., Owner (262) 613-5011 Cell

Video Conferencing: Those staff members who are working remotely have the tools in place to stay engaged, such as Teleconferencing, and Video Conferencing. Those still in the office also have access to tele- and videoconferencing. Just ask!

. . . And above all else, we hope that you, your staff and your families are safe! Check in regularly, or sign up to our eCampaigns (where we’ll send out information as things evolve); we promise, we will only inform you of critical, drastic changes to daily operations.

New Jersey Digital Printer Purchases Laminator, Coater, Business Card Slitter from Best Graphics

Leading East Coast Digital Print Facility Installs (3) New Finishing Machines via Best Graphics, Increases Productivity –

Best Graphics (Waukesha, WI) completes the sale, and installation of three new machines at North Jersey Digital Print facility. The equipment replaces an outdated Film Laminator, U.V. Coater and Business Card Slitter.

Our Italian line of high speed Ecosystem single sided Film Laminators provide Digital Printers the robust design (reliability), and quick makereadies they need for quick turn around jobs. Best Graphics installed one of our Quick 76 therm-based Film Laminators with speeds in excess of 160 feet/min., and 30 x 41″ maximum size formats.

For this New Jersey’s client who prefer U.V. and aqueous coating over film lamination, our Kompac EZ Koat 30 model will be utilized. Much like our Ecosystem Film Laminators, our Kompac line of Coaters are built to last, perform as required, and widely recognized as the premier manufacturer in the market space. Best Graphics’ Kompac EZ Koat 30 is a flood coater that supports up to 30.5″ wide sheets, requires less than (5) minutes to makeready, and is compact in footprint (a key selling feature in the expensive New Jersey-New York real estate market). Learn more about Ecosystem Film Laminators HERE.

The Them-O-Type Zip TS2L was the third machine sold, installed by Best Graphics’ Service Technicians. Made in the U.S.A., Therm-O-Type Slitter/Cutter/Creasers are know to be faster, and heavier duty than the Duplo DC-745 Digital Finishing system it replaced. Learn more about Kompac Coaters HERE.

All machines included delivery, install, operator training and have extended parts & labor warranties carried out by Best Graphics’ post-Sales Service & Parts Department.Learn more about Therm-O-Type Digital Finishing equipment HERE.
