Large, Multi-National Purchases Best Graphics’ Itotec RU 5.0 Unloader with Warranty

Best Graphics Sells Another Itotec Unloader to Support Multi-National’s Guillotine Cutter –

Best Graphics (WI), the exclusive North American importer, distributor and post-sales service & parts provider of Itotec Cutting equipment, sold another Japanese Unloader to a large, multi-national. This Itotec model RU 5.0 Unloader will support the purchaser’s Chicago, Illinois production. This is the third machine sale facilitated by Best Graphics and the buyer in as many years.

The equipment is configured as a left handed design to support a right-to-left work flow. The Itotec RU 5.0 down stacker will improve the Printer’s operating efficiency by up to 50% due to the Paper Cutter operator’s ability to continue cutting while product is down stacked.

Supported with a 36-month parts and labor warranty, the purchase is another “turn key” solution offering by Best Graphics’ Service Department, who will deliver, install and provide operator training on the equipment.

Itotec, a Japanese manufacturer of Paper Cutters and ancillary Cutting equipment (Paper Cutting systems) is celebrating its 101st year of manufacturing excellence. A family business that is owned and managed by the 6th generation of Ito family members, Itotec has more than 12,000 Guillotine Cutter and ancillary Cutting machine sales worldwide.

A Brush with Fame at Ye Olde Bucks Game!

Best Graphics Group_Milwaukee Bucks Outing

Bucks vs. Jazz | BMO Harris Bradley Center

Last night, Best Graphics joined our North Shore Banker, Eric Koepp, for an evening of fun at the Milwaukee Bucks game!

Winning in formidable fashion, our Milwaukee Bucks routed the Utah Jazz 114 to 88. With a win seemingly secured by the tail end of the 2nd quarter, much of the evening’s focus took place off the court. The highlight of the night undoubtedly was the unannounced visit to our suite by former Wisconsin State Senator, and current Milwaukee Bucks Owner, Herb Kohl. Herb took the time to greet each of us individually, have a quick chat, and snap a photo before continuing to “make the rounds.”

Here’s me, Dan Brahm, Eric Koepp, and other clients of North Shore Bank sharing a moment with Herb Kohl!

But our run in with fame didn’t stop there . . . And no, I’m not eluding to Bango the Buck, Milwaukee’s team mascot! Midway through a 3rd quarter commercial timeout, Milwaukee Bucks legend, and 6-time NBA Championship award winning recipient, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, graced center court to speak to the fans. To no surprise, he was greeted by a boisterous, standing ovation. Expressing his gratitude for the city of Milwaukee, Kareem acknowledged the many great memories the Bucks organization brought him at the early stages of his NBA career, and pleaded with fans to keep the Bucks in Milwaukee.

As a memento, all attendees of the game were gifted a signed Abdul-Jabbar 8.5″ x 11″ poster. Printed front and back on 80# Cover with a PMS Yellow, the “Print Nerd” in both me, and my father, Dan Brahm, was in full glow!

For those of you looking for a trusted Financial lender, serving clients for over 90 years, take a moment to review North Shore Bank’s website at!

Thank you for the tickets, and a very memorable night, Eric!

Our New Baum “Toys” Have Arrived!

Hello Cyber Space! Blogger A.J. Brahm here, wishing you all a healthy, and happy, new year! Here at Best Graphics we’re happy to see the installation of a few new “toys” on our demo floor, compliments of Baum Folder!

Mark Brown, Best Graphics Sales Rep and Baum Folder guru, has been working closely with Jim Brandewie of Baum to provide Best Graphics a few items on consignment. Jim, Regional Sales Manager, and Ken Poling, Baum’s lead Manufacturing Rep, arrived on Tuesday afternoon to install the items.

They placed a BaumPrint-18 2-Color Press, Baum Hopper/Loader, Baum 714XA Autofold Air-Feed Tabletop Folder, BaumCut 31.5″E Hydraulic Paper Cutter on our nearly 10,000 Square Foot Show Room Floors.

(L to R): Ken Poling, Mark Brown and Jim Brandewie

Say hello to Ken, Mark and Jim everybody! They’ve installed this new, Baum Hopper/Loader on our Osako Tener Alpha Saddle Stitcher. As the exclusive North American importers of Osako Saddle Stitchers, we think the Baum Hopper/Loader is an excellent complimentary piece of equipment we can sell, and service, to prospective customers coming through our facility.

The same goes for the BaumCut 31.5″E Hydraulic Paper Cutter, which couples nicely with our Itoh eRC Double Arm Pull Paper Cutters, yet another product line that we proudly import and distribute exclusively throughout North America! Don’t want to put a bottleneck on your Paper Cutter with those small format, digital print jobs? The BaumCut is the perfect remedy. Its fully programmable, stores jobs, and can pull up repeat jobs via barcode scanners.

“Best West” – The Start of a New Era

As they say, “change is the only constant.” It has been those adaptive to change that have survived the turbulence of recent year’s financial stagnation. Best Graphics, too, has evolved. One may say that June marked the start of a new era for our company.

Best Graphics Group Offices, Before and After Renovation
The new digs, before and after

The office, or as we like to call it, “Best West,” is located in Waukesha, WI and is approximately 10 miles west of our previous location. Renovations have occurred inside and out. We’ve completely remodeled the front office, re-landscaped the exterior and re-constructed the back warehouse layout to better accommodate our inventory.

Best Graphics Group New Showroom Floor
Our New Showroom Floor

In the process of evaluating our corporate identity, ownership agreed that it was time to give our website a bit of a face lift as well. We’re pleased to partner with Web design/development/marketing gurus, Matt Jewett and Port Eighty, LLC for the release of our new website in November. We hope our efforts will provide customers a more user friendly experience in and around our site, especially when “shopping” our inventory listings. Our new ‘do looks great! We hope you frequent the blog page where I, A.J. Brahm, will be updating clients, domestically and abroad, with snapshots of the many changes going on daily within Best Graphics Group.

‘Til next time,
A.J. Brahm, Sales Representative & self-appointed Chief Social Media Officer (!)
