Bacciottini BUTTERFLY Folding Machine —

The BUTTERFLY folding unit is mounted on wheels for easy positioning behind the creasing machine. The two parallel folds are performed by special knife units that allow for sheets to be folded without distortion to the sheet even if folding against the grain.

The BUTTERFLY is now available as either a two-knife unit (BUTTERFLY 2) or a three-knife unit (BUTTERFLY 3). The BUTTERFLY 3 can now perform two additional types of folds: a “Z” fold and a “closed gate” fold.

Bacciottini products are equipped with touch screens to input sheet size, thickness, and crease details — allowing easy job setup. Optional software automates this by allowing front office staff to input job parameters. A unique QR code encapsulates the information, ensuring accuracy in production. Workers use a scanning gun attached to the production machine, similar to self-checkout devices in stores, to read the QR code. The machine configures itself automatically, eliminating manual adjustments and human error.
