Highcon Digital Cutting and Creasing Process
The Highcon Beam is now available in two versions, the standard Beam 2 and the new Beam 3. The Beam 3 represents a significant advancement in digital die-cutting technology for folding cartons and micro-flute. This system enhances productivity by 50% when used with the optional Beam Writer, and by approximately 25% without it, compared to its predecessor, the Beam 2. The Beam 3 not only delivers higher quality and workflow improvements but also ensures user-friendly operations.
This machine allows converters to efficiently manage up to 10 jobs per shift with an average run length of 1000 sheets, facilitating a rapid return on investment within two years. It also features high registration accuracy that broadens the range of applications, including multi-up cartons suitable for pharma and high-speed industrial filling lines, and optimal folding force that meets the demands of the most challenging applications and materials.
The Highcon Beam 3 is equipped with an advanced Digital Die Cutting Workflow Package (DWP), ensuring that each tool is optimally matched to the job at hand, which supports profitable small batch production, rapid delivery times, design freedom, and a reduced need for skilled labor.
